Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Louisiana

Wage was garnished.My job paid what was on paper.4 months after last garnishment i get a letter charging me for more money.I called and she said interes was still accruing and i still had fees so they didnt get all the money.said i owed an additional 963 is this fair.
