Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
My 11 year old daughter was punched in the face today by a 14 year old boy and he broke her nose, the witness say he pushed her first he says she pushed him first, cops did nothing said we had to take it up in court, what do i do

You can do 2 things:
First, police have supervisors. You need to go to that cop's boss and insist that a report is made and delivered to the DA. If he were 17 it would possibly be an adult felony. It would be handled in juvenile court so you might not know if anything is done.
The other thing is you can retain a lawyer and sue his parents for damages.
