Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
I have a 13 year old son who was arrested at school the Monday after Easter. He was hand cuffed and walked out of school life a common crimiby Houma Police Department Officers. My son has never been in trouble and is an honor student and I was not contacted by the school nor the police prior to his arrest. I have been dealing with this issue since with the officers, the DA's office,detectives, the Cheif of police, and the school board and I'm still no clearer today as I was on the day my son was arrested. I need Help. I leave in Houma LA. He is charged with simple burglary of business.
