Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
My 18 yr old son was charged with 3 different counts, but all charges were dropped in court. When I got the minutes of the court trial it says "nol process" does that mean all charges are dropped and his record is clear? This was and is his only run in with the law?

Yes, this means it was dismissed. What the clerk should have written is "Nolle Prosequi" which is a Latin term for not prosecuted (or prosecution nullified)
