Dear LawGuru Friend,
Computers play strange tricks on me, and for some
reason I did not see your question until just now,
Tuesday, January 26, 2010...at least for sure it's Tuesday.
(Humor intended!) Sorry about your legal problem! It would be
hard for a lawyer to give you advice based on just the
few facts that have been presented in your question.
Nevertheless, depending on the time of the conviction,
you do have the right to seek appellate review of the
case. However, if you will e-mail me your phone
number, I will call you and discuss this matter with you
further. Of course, there will be no charge for my doing
so. I am now retired from the practice of law after having
been actively engaged in law practice for over 41 years.
Best of luck to you!
With kindest regards, and stanging by awaitng your
e-mail with you phone number, just in case you care to
discuss this further with me, I am
Sincerely,
Hardy Parkerson, J.D.
