Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
my boyfriend has a theft on his record from five or six years ago and it is stopping him from getting a good job because he can't pass the background check. the theft isn't his only charge/arrest though. What would he have to do to get his record expunged?

Depends on whether he was convicted, how many times and how he was sentenced. If he was never convicted, then expungement is not too difficult.
