Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
Burglury
I am a 27 year old female who was arrested in livingston parish for burglury,my neighbor said i broke into her house to steal her dog.I have never been in trouble before and am really scared what will most likly be the price a conviction would carry?

We would expect you to get probation, fine, court costs with the prospect of getting the charges dismissed without a conviction under La. C.Cr.P. Art. 893. We could also probably have all records of the arrest expunged eventually, i.e. it wouldn't show up on your rap sheet. If you want to make an appointment please call me at (225) 926-1700
