Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

Caught in the middle

My lover and her husband are going through a nasty divorce. There was physical contact between the two last month (no police report), she injured and bruised her knee bad. I am a disabled veteran and I receive medication for the pain I suffer from, none the less, I gave (not sold or traded) her no more than six(6) percocet pills. I realize that I should not have done that nor have I ever done that before. Her husband questioned me about that and I did not deny it. I also found out today that he taped our conversation without my knowledge. My question is; Was he allowed to have taped our conversation without my knowledge, can it be used in court as evidence and subpened to testify because of what I said, and will I be penalized by law for giving her six percocets. Thank you for your time and knowledge.

Re: Caught in the middle

First, he can record a conversation that he is involved in.

Second, he can turn it over to the police and he and the tape can be used against you.

Lastly, you can be charged with, and convicted of, distribution of a controlled substance.
