Contempt of Court
What needs to be done or what forms must be filled in order to have someone released who has servered his time for contempt of court? My husband is being held for contempt of court for failing a drug test fromt he court. This happened in Jefferson Parish and he is still being held. It is now past the 6 month period.

You need to contact your husband's attorney or the person at the parish prison who does the time comps. Obviously, something else is going in his case. When a person is incarcerated, the jail or prison computes his time, i.e. his "out date", and when that date comes he is released.
