Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

Contributing to the delinquincy of a juvenille

I am a 18 year old male, and i have a friend who is 15 years of age, her parents wont let us see each other, or they dont want us talking to each. Well i know it isnt illegal to talk to her, but if i purchased a cell phone for her to talk to me with, will that be contributing to the delinquincy of a juvenille, because i dont see any delinquincy in her talking to me.

I guess my original answer of YES, did not satisfy. Your friend is under 17 and you are over 17. By assisting your 'friend' in violating her parents' rules, YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELINQUENCY OF A MINOR.....and it goes without saying that you are not working to gain either the friendship or trust of her parents. By circumventing her parents' wishes, you are setting yourself up for problems.
