I was convicted of a felony in the state of louisiana( false comunnication of planned arson) in may 2003. I know that i cant get an expungement because of the laws in louisiana. My question is, will my record follow me if i move to another state.

Once arrested you are entered into a national database. As you proceed through the court process this record is updated. It is accessible to anyone qualified to run a criminal history.

It is not expungable because you were convicted. Had you been aquitted or the charges dismissed the arrest would have been expungable. Your conviction follows you.
