Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

I have a court order granted by the state of louisiana , the parish of bossier and signed and ordered by a judge to return some property to me that was seized immediately ...and yet the DA is giving me the run around ..the DA secretary said that the property was forfieted ? What do I do ..Im backed in a corner.. Im a full time student and single mother and I cant afford and attorney.

I went down to the DA office with paperwork . at first i was told by the detective they had it and that I have to have a paper faxed from the DA office to return it now they are sayin it was forfieted in may 2009 and I dont see how cause the court proceedings were still goin on at that time the charges were dropped. and the motion was filed to return property after i gave proof that it was income tax money and money needed for school...which went in affect as of 7-23-2010..

This is something that will require you to hire an attorney but you can pull all court proceedings from the files in the Bossier clerk of courts office.
