If a defendent pleads guilty to the crime of negligent injury as it relates to having injured a motorcyclist in an auto accident where the defendent was found to be smelling of alcohol, had open containers in the vehicle, but failed and refused to take the blood alcohol test - is this offense (negligent injury) considered a crime of violence. The motorcyclist was severely injured and the driver of the auto that hit him received five citations including no insurance.

Maybe in someone's personal opinion but not legally.
It is a crime of negligence.
