what is the legal way to plead to simple battery charge in city criminal court. if i plead no contest what are effects on my job and will this be a permanent crimal record

No contest is still a guilty plea. The only difference is that the no contest plea cannot be used in a civil case against you.
It will be on your record, but I do not know how this affects your employment since every employer is different.
