Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
domestic abuse /battery
defindent; i was jailed, bond set at $1000. after 24 hours of horable conditions, posted bail myself i have a court date 30 days where i'm told i need to plee, not guilty, and a trial date will be set. my question is what's next, best/worst case sonerio? i have health problems, 60 years old, and could die in jail.
