Double Jeopardy

If a plaintiff sues and obtains a judgement in civil court against a defendent, is he then allowed to pursue criminal charges?

Re: Double Jeopardy

There is no double jeopardy. A criminal charge is not filed in the court by the victim. It is filed by the state.
