DWI and SCH II narcotic charge
My son had a friend's prescription that was inadverently left in his vehicle after the parade was over my son could not find his friend so he phoned him to remind him that his meds were in his car. Well, my son was stopped had illegal search of car and found the script and was arrested based on having another individuals medication in his possession without the owner of the med being present. This is outrageous that our state is so hard up for money that they arrest anyone. Please help me and let me know if this is illegal or not

The body of your letter does not point out the DWI. Was that alcohol or drug related?

As to the drug possession, your son's friend can testify that he was riding with your son & forgot his medication.

There isn't enough detail for me to agree or disagree about the legality of the search.
