Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
Can someone explain a 'probation bond' in Louisiana laws? This person didn't finish drug court and got arrested again years later, in which the probation hold went into effect. Thanks!

A probation hold is a method of holding someone arrested on another charge for something the were already on probation for. They will be held until the originating court decides what they want to do with them. A probation bond would be a court ordered amount of money which would have to be posted prior to release to assure court appearance on probation hearing.
