Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
if someone is found guilty in a criminal trail and is sentenced to prison and they are currently out in bail while the trail is on.....do they report to prison as soon as found guilty or do they remain free until sentencing......also can they remain free if they appeal.....this is a vehicular homicide

You can ask the court for additional time prior to surrendering and you can ask to remain free pending appeal-it is up to the Court
