Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
Ilegal confession
My husband was arrested at our house. I had called the house at the time the arrest was going on. He had told me he was being arrested and to call his attorney. I had asked the officer where they were bringing him and he told me. (had me on speaker phone)
When they had gotten to the sheriff's office the continued to interogate my husband at which time he had told them what he had done and he signed a confession. Is this a legal confession since I was asked to call my husband's attorney?
The prosecution has a copy of this confession.

Call an attorney. This may be an improper confession.
