Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
inheritance and convicted felon
Can a felony fraud conviction stop a person from inheriting property from a parent? Also, if inherited, and the sibling is not abiding by a will to take care of debt, can anything be done to remove that person from the property ?

Re: inheritance and convicted felon
A felony fraud conviction cannot stop a person from inheriting property unless the fraud had something to do with the parent and their property. Your information about a will and taking care of debt is too vague for an intelligent answer. More information is required.
