interrogated mental patient signed confession
What happens when a mental patient who's on many psychiatric medicines has been arrested, and drilled until they confess and sign papers when they really didn't know what they were signing? They are a very meek person who took the police's word. They don't even know they didn't have to answer any questions, or that they should have an attorney present. Is this binding? Are they going to stay in jail?

Re: interrogated mental patient signed confession
The patient needs a lawyer to file a Motion to Supress the confession and to have a sanity commission appointed to examine him.
