Can a lawyer withdraw
I am set to go to court 6/20/2005. I have paid my lawyer 1500 and still owe him 2000 can he withdraw from my case leaving me . This is a criminal case. What happens if he does.Do I get my money back?

Yes he can leave you if you have not paid the fee. If the matter is scheduled for trial and in a few weeks he has probably earned more than you have paid already.
