Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
legal action
my son was arrested April 2006 for aggravated rape of a 10 year old boy, just on the word of his now ex-wife. the detective, which is a good friend of my son's ex-wife, received dna evidence on dec. 6,2006. Dna evidence was negative. I don't know when he gave it to the da. the da, who was court ordered, call my sons lawyer in may 2007 and claims she missed filed the dna evidence. what kind of legal actions can be taken? He is still in jail!

Re: legal action
I am not sure what you mean by the DNA evidence being negative (there was no DNA, DNA did not match your son, etc).
He should definetly consult with his attorney about this one.
