married couples rights
An ingaged couple one is charged with
a felony if that couple was to get
married do they still have the right not
to testify against eachother even if the
felony charges happened before they
were married the charges were filed in
October and their wedding is planned
for November

You have the right to refuse to testify in any trial. Read Article 5 of the Louisiana Code of Evidence and decide for yourself. If you are the victim of the crime being charged, that is one thing. Unfortunately, if you know facts about a crime, you may face obstruction of justice charges.
