Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
nolle process
my boyfriend and another guy was arrested for armed robbery. My boyfriend had other charges to face and has been in jail for 2 1/2 years without ever being officially charged for the armed robery. The other guy got nolle process and paid the victim $10,000 he said its suppose to cover my bf too. Do you think my bf is still going to have to face the armed robbery charge?

The District Attorney has six (6) years from the date of the incident to charge any defendants.
