Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
If the parish someone is being held has been released the person of charges in that parish, is it true that the other parish only has 72 hours to transfer them to the holding parish?

It can be longer than that. A bond hearing has to be conducted within 72 hours unless it is a parole hold. Usually the parish must indicate their desire to pick up the prisoner and pick them up within 10 days.
