Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

no payment

my ex girlfriend brought a laptop computer from a rental shop, she used my name as a secondary name, we have since separated & I have now found out that she is not keeping up the payments & that my name is not the secondary name but the first name on the account, she made the purchase & have the laptop but tell the manager of the store that she does not have the laptop, every payment that had been made was made by her & the employess remember her coming in & signing the payment agreement, i did not sign anything & she has my name as the one responsible for the payments when I am not in possession of this computer at all, is there anyway that I can have my name cleared? Please help

Go to the rental company and have your name removed. Since your signature in no where, or if it is, it is a forgery, then they should comply. And tell them if they try to affect your credit rating, you will definitely sue them.
