Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

if police didnt have a warrant yet, but when i answered the door, they almost pushed their way in, and i did have 2.5 pills (schedule 3 narcs) but they left me without arresting me, on the promise i would roll over on a dealer for them, could they actually return with a warrant to arrest me? if i didnt help them i mean...(and they were kinda pushing their way in?) and they did attain the pills from me btw and left with them (please i dont have much money,but i am one of the best computer techs out there...and would be glad to hook the person that could help me out with this up with whatever they needed fixed-ben

The court will give you a public defender who will look into whether the search was legal. Things in plain sight or which can be felt or smelled allow them entry.
