Post Conviction Release
I am trying to get my brother's wrongful sentence turned over. How do i do this? His post-conviction release has been denied.He has served 8yrs on a 20yr sentence thus far for simple robbery. There is no evidence. Please, how can i help him?

Based on what you have written, there may be mulitple ways to potentially achieve your objective. First, there is a process called habeas corpus. The only way to attack your brother's conviction at this point is through the writ of habeas corpus. A qualified criminal defense lawyer can explain how the writ may be used to challenge your brother's confinement based on a constitutional right violation.
