Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

Probation

My boyfriend was sentenced to 6 months in the IMPACT boot camp. He was told he had to have a job before he got out of boot camp. How is it possible to get a job in jail? He said he will be on extensive (or intensive) probation when he gets out and he will have a bracelet he will have to wear. Can he get a job out of state? My father is the supervisor of a construction company. My boyfriend will be living with my parents and I, he will be going back and forth to work with my father. The job is only 20 minutes away and he has worked for my dad before while on probation.

He needs to resolve these issues with his probation/parole officer.

Let's see if I get this. Your boyfriend lives with you and your parents. He committed a crime and was put on probation. Your dad gives him a job and either he commits another crime and violates his probation and is sentenced to boot camp. And you want to know how to help him? Why not help yourself and dump him. My 36 years in the business tells me that your boyfriend will end up doing time over and over. Unless he is just being picked on.
