Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
I have a question dealing with a restraining order. There is a second degree murder case that is pending and the suspect's ex-wife put a restraining order out on him because he is out on bond. They are to have no contact with each bother but are now secretly sneaking around to see each other and the trial is set for the middle of April. Can any legal action be done or could this hurt his case in any way?

The wife took out the restraining order and he is violating it by seeing her. However, a court would probably nullify it if she tried to enforce it once she violated it herself. Since you did not say why she took out the restraining order and know nothing about her involvement in the crime, I can't tell you what affect it would have on the guy's case.
