Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
My question is how long does the state/City of New Orleans have to accept charges(simple battery/domestic or just simple battery)? I thought they were supposed to do something with in 90 days but that time has come and gone.

For a normal misdemeanor, 2 years. If the person is in jail, 45 days.
