Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

Serving full sentneces

If a person is arrested PWID of class c drugs and in possesion of a firearm, convicted to 10 years; what would be the min. time served? What grounds would call for an early release or halfway housing?

Can you perform an expungement on your own(federal conviction, time & prob served)?

Thanks in advance

If it is a Federal conviction you must remember that there is no parole in the Federal system. One is entitled to 15% off for "good time" if qualified. The minimum served would therefore be 8.5 years.

I know of no provision for expunging a federal drug conviction. Even under the Louisiana expungement statutes, which do not apply to federal matters, a person recieving a 10 year felony sentence of incarceration would not qualify.
