Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

Ok Heres My Story First...

When I was 18 I was Convicted of Indecent behavior of a juvenile due to the fact that someone hacked into my msn accounts and threatened a fifteen year old girl to send nude pictures of herself or else she would hack her computer as well. To make a very long story short. I was blamed for it being as though the account was in my name. The sentence that my parish gave me was 4 years probation 15 years sex offender and reduced it to Indecent Behavior of a Juvenile. Well recently I decided to move I currently reside in Many, Louisiana and am trying to move to Lake Charles, Louisiana. My probation officer won't let me. So I decided to try to end my probation early. I wrote the judge a letter about a month ago and still have'nt gotten a reply. I can't afford a lawyer being as though im just a college student. So what kind of advice could you give me. There has to be couple of sex offense cases whose ended there probation early that I could use or something. Please all council would help me and I would really appreciate it! I Have been on atleast 5 websites for opinions and I pray for those who supply it! Thanks.....

I am sorry to hear what happened to you, but... Have you tried to speak to a lawyer? How many lawyers did you call or speak to? Have you tried a legal referral service for free/low-cost legal services? Depending upon the case, many attorneys will take a hardship case for a client who cannot pay (or who can pay very little) if they really believe the case has merit and the client will suffer a great injustice. You just need call different lawyers.

There is no answer that I can give that will undue your conviction. It is now final. The time to have challenged it was when you were charged. Moral of the story: In deciding the cost of lawyer, you MUST take into account HOW your life will change if you lose or do not make a defense. It all depends upon the priorities we have in life. You are in college, and no doubt are paying numerous expenses. But, college is optional. So is a lawyer. It just depends upon where your priorities lie. Without an attorney, I can only wish you good luck.
