Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

i took 300.00 from my boss and he called the police and them drop the charges ,but the state is still charging me with felony thelf and let me out on 1200. bond ,what can i do to get out of this charge,the money was returned and i never did that before

Ultimately the District Attorney is the only person who decides if a person is charged with a crime. Get a lawyer and see if (s)he can get the charge dismissed.
