Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana
What can I do if I'm being threatened with footage of sex acts taken unknowingly and the person says if I don't pay they will post to social media and do what ever it takes to ruin my life and business

In this day and time, with every phone doubling as a camera, nothing seems to be private. If you are married and the footage is sex with someone who is not your spouse, get a lawyer. If your business is honestly threatened by this, get a lawyer. A blackmailer is going to try to maintain leverage against you as long as possible. At some point (and that point might be right now), it might be best to report this to the police.
