Thrird time felony offender
can a person who has 2 distribution of cocaine charges from 1995 and a distribution of marijuana charge (all felony offenses)and currently serving 5 years become eligable for parole

I think you're telling me that the inmate was convicted of the two cocaine charges on the same date and the marijuana charge on a different date.
Convictions on the same date are considered to be one conviction and the inmate is a second offender. In Louisiana (s)he becomes eligible for parole after 50% of the sentence is served.
