Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Louisiana

Can a potential employer refuse to interview you for a prospective job opening if your child was a former patient of the hiring physician? My child had not been a patient there in over 3 months and I was refused an interview anyway. Is this legal?

An employer can refuse to interview you any reason they want. Do you think one has a right to be interviewed?
