drunk driving and dwi charges
How do I go about filing for an article 894? Do I need a lawyer present? Do I file on my court date when I give my guilty plea? Also is there any way I can keep my license?

First, your guilty plea should have been accepted inititally under 894. If it was, you just need to file appropriate pleadings with the court to have it expunged. You can do it yourself, but it is going to be more trouble than it is worth, because you will not have the appropriate pleadings in your possession. I would recommend hiring an attorney to do it for you. You will thank yourself later.
