What classification is an underage DUI considered in the state of Louisiana, and how long is it on your record if you are convicted?

Underage DWI/DUI is a misdemeanor. It is on the criminal record permanently. All impaired driving offenses stay on the Louisiana driving record for 10 years.

If you are asking if it is a "class a" or "class b" offense, those classifications are not used in Louisiana.
