I was arrested for taking lortab and xanax. I am in a pain clinic and regularly prescribed these meds. On the bottles it says take caution in operating a car and heavy machinery. I was arrested for taking the medicine that day and having my 1/2ton pickup classified as heavy machinery. What do I do to clear this up.

The fact that a drug is prescribed does not mean it is not intoxicating. Find and hire a lawyer who knows DWI/DUI law well.
