I would like to have a dwi conviction under articile 894 expunged from my record. Or have my driving record cleaned up somehow.

If you pled guilty under Article 894 then to expunge the conviction is not a problem. However, if you did not plea under that Article, then the Article does not apply. You will have to try an expungement under Title 44. You need to sit down with an attorney in the jurisdiction where you were sentenced for the DWI.
If you do not know whether you plead under article 894 at the time of your trial, you or your attorney can check the records at the courthouse. You should gather any and all records you have in your possession concerning the case. It would be especially helpful if you had something with the case number or docket number on it, as well as the court you were tried in. In Jefferson, it would have been either First Parish Court for the Eastbank or Second Parish Court for the Westbank, where you live. You can call or email me if you would like my office to help you with this.
