Legal Question in Education Law in Louisiana

i have a doughter in first grade and they always send letters home saying no siblings on field trips or school parties. well i have another child so i can never go, but my child comes home telling me that other parents had brought their babies to the party, even the teacher brought her baby a few times, so i asked if i could go on the field trip, i offered to bring my own car pay full price, and help out with the kids if i could not go with the class. they told me no. my daughter comes home and says one of the little boys mom brought his little brother. so my question is, how they can tell me no i can not bring my child, but the other parents and the teacher can bring theirs. thats not right to me, and i want to know if i have a case and should i go to the school board about this?

Assuming this is a public school, I think you should contact your area school board member directly.
