power of attorney for mother with alzheimers
My mother lives in Georgia,I live in Louisiana, I recently brought her to Louisiana to live with me. I have Ga. Medical power of attorney, I need financial power of attorney,she still has finances in Ga. Do I need Ga financial power of attorney and La financial power of attorney

Most financial institutions in Louisiana require that a POA be signed before a Notary and two witnesses. That isn't a legal requirement, but it is common practice.
If the Georgia POA is notarized and witnessed, it should be OK.
