Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
i was abandoned from my husband 20 yrs ago, i have my 3 sons with me aged: 26, 24 and 20.what should i do to file a divorce. i dont have any idea where he is right now.

You can file a 103 divorce, a curator will have to be appointed to represent him as an absentee. The curator will place a where abouts ad and file the appropriate paperwork with the court then you can receive a default judgment of divorce.

Ms. Lucas said it......a curator to represent him will do it. You gave up all rights to alimony and child support by letting all this time elapse, so all you can get is a divorce and possibly a property settlement due to the time you have been separated.
