Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Can I do an Act of Surrender and bring it to the court date i have a subpoena for to have the incarcerated father sign to surrender his rights until i get married and have my husband adopt my child? Also, will this help in the adoption process if we do this document?

You can file a termination of parental rights and he can surrender after being served. He cannot surrender without a pending proceeding.
