Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
I was adopted,then they kicked me out at a young age.They disowned me,I haven't seen or heard from them since about 1983,by adoption laws do I still have heir right to monetary and property.They had a biological daughter(mentally challenged),and I was their only son.?

In order to disown you they would have to leave a will specifically giving their property to another heir. They cannot disown the daughter as she is disabled.

In order to disown you they would have to leave a will specifically giving their property to another heir. They cannot disown the daughter as she is disabled. You can inherit from your natural parents even though you were adopted by someone else.
