Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

age 16,custody

my niece is 16, her parents have joint custody. Each parent has one week at at time. The dad is mean to her due to she refuses to move with him fulltime , nlike her sister(which was given a new car for doing so). Her sister is mean to her , they have left her at school with no ride, locked out of the house.so lately she goes straight to her friend--name removed--house. The dad is going to court for full custody on terms of saying mother is keeping her from him.. What can my sister do? or what can child do? she has threaten to runaway. Please help, she can't afford an attorney........

The child needs to ask to speak to the judge and then tell him how she feels and that if forced to go with dad she will run away. But why would the dad want her if she does not want to go?
