i need to know after a certain amount of years what is the alimony law.

Gross income is what matters, as to both of you......and most importantly, if YOU ARE FAULT FREE in the break up of the marriage...AND, then if you are fault free, what do you need to survive taking into consideration your lifestyle while with him....and the longer you enjoyed that lifestyle the better for you....
